Pet Pix Contest

Got a pretty pooch? Cool cat? Handsome hamster? Like to chill with your chinchilla or just horse around? Grab your camera and start snapping!

Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Realty is now accepting entries for its Pet Pix Contest!

Submit your best pet photos for a chance to win $100 and to support Paw’s Place Animal Rescue.

How to Enter
Email your photos to contest@seacoastrealty.com. Please include your first and last name with your photo, so that we can give you credit as the photographer. Don't forget to tell us your pet's name and what town you live in so that we can write a caption for your photo.

For each photo you submit, Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Realty will donate one dollar to Paw’s Place Animal Rescue (up to $500). Enter as many photos as you like. (Duplicate photos will only be counted once.)

We'll post a sampling of entries on Facebook. If you send multiple photos, let us know which is your favorite, in case we aren't able to post all the entries you send in.

Prizes
The three Pet Pix Contest entries with the most votes will receive:
1st Place - $100
2nd Place - $50
3rd Place - $25

How the Contest Works
Entries will be accepted via email until Thursday, July 29, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. Then, we’ll choose the finalists and post them on Facebook for everyone to vote for their favorite photos.

On Friday, July 30, 2010, Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Realty staff will choose the finalists and post them on our Facebook page at Noon. Voting will begin as soon as the photos are posted on Facebook and will continue until Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. Votes cast before or after the official voting period will not be counted. Votes will be tallied and the winners will be announced on Thursday, August 5, 2010.

Voting is open to anyone and everyone, so tell your friends!

Rules
Photos can be of dogs, cats, horses, pot-bellied pigs, snakes, lizards, birds, hamsters, and all other pets. People in the photos are just fine, as long as they’re pictured with their pets. Be as creative and fun as you want, but please don’t harm your pets (or yourself) in the process.

Images submitted must not have been taken by a professional photographer. Images must have been taken by the person who is submitting the picture. If your friend or spouse took the photo, have them submit it to the contest. By submitting your image, you grant Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Realty permission to post your image on its Facebook page, blog, and SeaCoastRealty.com.

Help Pets in Need
Want to do more to help Paw’s Place Animal Rescue? We’ll be accepting donations for Paw’s Place at all of our offices August 2-5, 2010. Needed items include dog food, toys, blankets, towels, and especially dog food formulated for senior dogs.
